Don't forget: Workshop 3
SEAFLUX Third Workshop to be held March 2 - 3, 2006. Follow link for more information.
Under the auspices of the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) Global Energy and Water Experiment (GEWEX) Radiation Panel, the SEAFLUX Project has been initiated to investigate producing a high-resolution satellite-based data set of of surface turbulent fluxes over the global oceans. The SEAFLUX project has the following elements:

Most Seaflux data and files are curently available for download. Two methods are being used at the moment.
First, you can still access the files using anonymous ftp using "ftp://www.seaflux.org/".
Second, links to individual files from this section are being integrated into this website.

Status of Data Sets
There have been some problems with the FTP version of the SEAFLUX data set. Most of these problems have been fixed. If you encounter any problems or cannot access any of the data, please contact Randy Reeder (rreeder@cloud.colorado.edu) or Mat Rothstein (mrothste@monsoon.colorado.edu).

A lot of news to report; thanks to all of you who have provided input. Please keep sending your input.
Re: the SEAFLUX web page. I am up to date on posting data. However, I am somewhat behind in organizing some parts of the web page and getting things posted, hope to rectify this shortly. When somebody sends me a copy of a submitted paper of figures, I am sometimes unsure as to whether it is OK to post these on the web page. If you see something posted on the web page that you don't want there (or vice versa), please let me know.

Here is the latest info on the SEAFLUX intercomparison project and Workshop.
Intercomparison Data
If you haven't checked the SEAFLUX web page recently (http://paos.colorado.edu/~curryja/ocean/), there continues to be more data added to the page under Intercomparison. Also, there are new data sets on the Links page. The new satellite flux data sets on the Links page include data sets from Kubota and Jones.
